This Eternal Love is one of four in a series titled Starcrossed. While experimenting with inks and mark making, I discovered I was drawn to the darkness peaking through the colors. It almost looked like another dimension poking through.
After adding a few stars to these dark portions, It looks like a moment caught between time and space. While I painted, a song came on in the background: "Are we written in the stars, baby, or are we written in the sand?".
This entire series is inspired by a love so strong, time and space couldn't pull them apart. A love like that is written in the stars.
