These pieces were originally created using small, travel sized materials while I was in the hospital battling depression and PTSD from my time in the military. After having a creative block due to my mental health, these two pieces were the first step towards regaining my creative spark again. As these pieces hold a very special place in my heart, the originals will not be for sale.
Inspired by my own internal battle with my body, I created this series as a way to celebrate the various body types of women. Many women around the world have connected with this series, expressing their own insecurities with their bodies. This series serves as a celebration of women of all walks of life. I plan to continue this series with even more beautiful bodies!
This series was painted after I began seeing growth within myself as an artist and within my business. My techniques changed over time and I discovered happy accidents that I now use in my work daily. This series represents the growth we can have when we face our challenges with hope instead of doubt.
This series created in honor of a young girl named Charlotte. I discovered Charlotte in a Facebook Art group sharing a lovely bird she painted with matches. Living in the Philippines, she does not have access to art supplies necessary to continue her creativity. I decided to create a series of birds inspired by Charlotte and her resiliency. The portion of the proceeds went towards a care package of American art supplies for Charlotte to enjoy!
I originally painted this series with the intent of creating fortune telling cards. At the start of my spiritual journey, I discovered Tarot and was inspired to try creating my own deck. With animals as the focus, this was the perfect opportunity to expand my subject matter while exploring my spirituality as well. Divine Beasts is a series with a variety of animals that represent different aspects of the human experience. While caterpillars and butterflies could represent growth, this piece has its own meaning.
I completed this duo just prior to graduating art school and was so inspired to paint about dreams coming true. I had so many ideas bursting out of my mind that it was almost paralyzing. So I was simply forced to daydream about all the possibilities at my fingertips.
The only series created without a single photograph reference, I pulled these forms out of my own imagination. Free and flowing. This series is about the feminine energy that creates, nurtures, protects, and transforms. Through abstract forms of the female body, each piece captures a different facet of what it means to be powerful as a woman. This series invites the viewer to recognize feminine energy not as something fragile, but as something sacred. Each figure is a goddess in her own right; a reminder that power comes in many forms in each of us.
I originally painted this series during the 2020 pandemic in the middle of summer in my boyfriends garage. It was the very first series I had completed upon securing my official business documents as Fearless Paints. This series titled Wonder, is a testament to my initial pursuit of becoming an artist. With their eyes closed, these ladies are daydreaming of what the universe has to offer. They hold no fear, only hope of what the future holds.
At this point of my career, I was learning of the infinite paths I could take as an artist and experimenting with what ideas set my bones on fire. This series is a reflection of anyone who is at the start of something exciting and full of wonder over what blessings have yet to arrive.
This series titled Voices of Power honors two of the most influential figures in the fight for civil rights, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Through bold strokes and layered textures, each piece captures the contrast and commonality between these leaders: MLK’s unwavering belief in nonviolence and unity, and Malcolm X’s fierce advocacy for self-determination and justice. Rather than reducing them to symbols, this series reimagines them as layered, human, and unfiltered; Each portrait a visual dialogue on resistance, transformation, and the power of conviction.
This Eternal Love is one of four in a series titled Starcrossed. While experimenting with inks and mark making, I discovered I was drawn to the darkness peaking through the colors. It almost looked like another dimension poking through.
After adding a few stars to these dark portions, It looks like a moment caught between time and space. While I painted, a song came on in the background: "Are we written in the stars, baby, or are we written in the sand?". This entire series is inspired by a love so strong, time and space couldn't pull them apart. A love like that is written in the stars.
These pieces are not apart of a series.
