Something you may not know about me is that I am a very spiritual person. I believe in the unbelievable. I believe plenty of things are possible. Much like art, a canvas holds infinite possibilities. Life is the same way.
Today I wasn’t feeling very creative. Sometimes I see the beautiful work of other creatives and one of two things happens. 1. I gain inspiration and feel creative enough to create. or… 2. I get discouraged and feel like a quitter. Today, it just wasn’t doing it for me.
I usually paint from 9 am to about 5 pm or dinner time. At about 7:45 pm inspiration hit me like a ton of bricks. When I set my mind to something, I go for it. I may get a bit obsessive. I let other aspects of my life fall off my schedule.
Recently I have been ignoring my spirituality. But today I regained it. I practice tarot readings and I received a message that put my butt into high gear.
I think something we all need is a bit of encouragement. Sometimes we need to hear the answers we already know. Why is that? All I know is that sometimes we have to be the one who encourages ourselves.
After feeling inspired, I ran to the easel and started letting my creativity out. The results we enough to put a huge smile on my face and my anxiety put to rest.
My arms are stained and there is nothing I find more beautiful.
The truth is sometimes we need to encourage ourselves. We need to dig deep within ourselves to find the answers we are all looking for.
I want nothing more than to be a full time artist and spend my days doing what I love-creating. But it’s not in the cards right now…pun intended!
But that’s ok. My goals and dreams are absolutely attainable because I know I have the power to make it happen.
With my art and message I hope I can spread encouragement and spirituality. We are capable of much more than we give ourselves credit for. if there is something you truly want, you can achieve it.
If it’s meant to be, it will be. if you feel it in your bones that you are meant for something bigger, listen to that voice. Go for it. I am!
